Returns & Refunds
Twine Home Store are bound by the NSW Department of Fair Trading’s obligations for product exchange and refund. Twine Home Store are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:
- has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
- is unsafe
- is significantly different from the sample or description
- doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.
If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. Please note that only an unused whip may be returned or exchanged.
Please keep your proof of purchase, eg. your receipt.
Orders & Delivery
All orders placed through this website are subject to confirmation and acceptance by Twine Home Store. Twine Home Store may vary prices in the event of price changes or mistakes made by suppliers on reasonable prior notice to you. If Twine Home Store requests payment for increased prices, you may cancel the order by giving notice to Twine Home Store, which must be received within seven days of the announcement of the increase.
Twine Home Store or its agent will deliver the goods you order to the address you specify in your order, within the agreed time frame, subject to their availability. Where the goods are not available you will be notified of this by Twine Home Store as soon as possible. Anyone at the delivery address who receives the goods will be presumed by Twine Home Store to be authorised to receive the goods. If your goods include products in respect of which the law prescribes a minimum age for purchase, you must be over the age of 18 years (or such other minimum age as is prescribed by the law), and you must ensure that a person over that age is available to accept delivery of the goods. Twine Home Store may refuse to deliver the goods if the person receiving the goods is unable or unwilling to provide evidence of proof of age. If there is no-one at the delivery address or no-one of appropriate age to receive the order, Twine Home Store may charge you additional delivery fees. Once the goods are delivered to you, you will own them and it is your responsibility if they are lost or damaged. Twine Home Store reserves the right to restrict sales to retail quantities when supplying resellers and distributors.
Prices & Payment
For each online order, you must pay: 1. the applicable price for the relevant goods confirmed by Twine Home Store; and 2. the delivery and handling fee specified on the website at that time. Your order details are safe and secure. At this stage we can only accept payments using the methods stated on the website, those being PayPal and Direct Deposit. We are unable to accept COD charges. Payment must be cleared before the goods are dispatched.
All our products are sent to you in good condition and packaged correctly, we cannot guarantee the condition of the product on arrival. Twine Home Store aims to include up-to-date images of all of the goods on this website, however our picture of the goods may differ from the actual goods. We recommend you read the labels on the goods carefully before using the goods.
You agree to take responsibility for the safekeeping of your user name and password. You are liable if your user name or password is used by an unauthorised person. You agree to release and indemnify Twine Home Store in connection with any use (whether authorised or unauthorised) of your user name or password. Twine Home Store may suspend or cancel your account at any time without prior notice.
We do not store any credit card details on our server. Online payments are made via PayPal, or Direct Deposit to our account. We utilise our own dedicated security certificate from with the latest 128-bit SSL encryption technology to secure customer information supplied when registering a profile.
Twine Home Store will not reveal your personal information to external organisations except for the purposes of fulfilling your order. We do not provide third parties with access to your personal data.
Twine Home Store respects the Guidelines suggested by the Australian Direct Marketing Association, in it’s Code of Practice for Consumer Protection in ecommerce.
As a customer of Twine Home Store you may receive occasional email communications from Twine Home Store that relate to the products we provide to you, and you will have the option to opt-out of all non-essential email and postal mail.
Changes To Terms
Each order is governed by the terms and conditions current when the order is placed. Twine Home Store may add to, delete or otherwise change these terms and conditions without notice. It is your responsibility to read and understand these terms and conditions each time you place an order.
